The Road and the Radio

ABOUT US

This is about life on the the road with radio. It’s about music and entertainment for the drive, whatever you are driving, a big rig for work, an RV or your SUV with the family.

Maybe you feel like we just showed up, but Trucker Radio has been around since May of 2006 as a weekly two-hour syndicated radio show heard on radio stations in Canada and selected US markets. In April of this year, we chose to end our syndicated shows on terrestrial radio stations and instead launch a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week online radio station.  We have morphed to THE ROAD AND THE RADIO…but not just another online music jukebox. We are veteran radio people, not simply a guy playing his favorites. Our core music is well-tested 80s & 90s country music all the way to before “bro” country.  We occasionally include choice cuts from the 70s,  but that’s not all. On weekend, we feature the best of the 60’s and 70’s and sometimes even farther back with our Classic Country Sunday.  Also, we present a country music quiz with Stan Campbell’s Star Story.  As we grow, we have more specials on the way, including interviews with some of the great classic stars like George Jones and Merle Haggard.
